Day 01 : Arrival at Bagdogra
Our representative will be there to receive the Guest at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) – He will be assisting for the transfer to Gangtok – Gangtok the capital of Sikkim Suits all from tranquility to adventure, land of monastery, mystic rituals & festivals at an height of 1670 meters / 5480 feet and is the most visited spot of India. It is one of the most beautiful town with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids and butterflies - Nearly 135 kilometers 4 ½ - 5 hours drive – Check into hotel - Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center - Over Night stay at Gangtok
Day 02 : Gangtok
After Breakfast today start for excursion to Tshangu Lake. Further 10 kms from Tshangu Lake, lays the legendary Baba Mandir. Tshangu Lake: situated at a height of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around.NEW Baba Mandir: at an altitude of over 13,000 feet. It was built in memory of a soldier in the 23rd Punjab Regiment, who drowned in a stream near the spot. Legend says he later appeared in a dream to one of his colleagues where he requested that a temple be built in his memory.Return back to hotel in the evening. Overnight at hotel Gangtok.
Day 03: Gangtok
Morning breakfast - full day city tour of Gangtok – Visit to Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show, Rumtek Monastery, one of the finest monastery where His holy Dalai Lama stayed for some time, Various View Points, Botanical Garden, etc - back to hotel - evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center – There are few discotheques & Casinos in Gangtok to spend time - over night stay at Gangtok.
Day 04 : Gangtok -Darjeeling
Today, After breakfast head out for sightseeing in Gangtok visiting the Tashi View Point, Do Drul Chorten, Cottage Industry, and Bakthang Falls. In the afternoon, drive from Gangtok to Darjeeling and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 05: Darjeeling
Early in the morning (approx 4.00 am), visit Tiger Hill to see the sun rise over Mount Everest, Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Return back to the hotel for breakfast. Next, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zooogical Park (closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, Tea Estate (from outside), Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 06 : Darjeeling - Bagdogra
In the morning, drive to Bagdogra in time for your flight.
